I was terrified and anxious about the surgery and expecting a bad outcome. Wendy did a better job explaining the surgery and what I could do to ease the discomfort than the surgeon did. The Reiki session helped me evolve from a fearful place to a place of calm expectation that it would go well. And it did. Very well. I also saw her for follow-up sessions as I was recovering from surgery and I felt an immediate shift after each session. The surgeon was surprised at how well I healed. I've continued to see Wendy for "tune-ups" if you will. My introduction to Reiki began with my hospitalization for a bowel obstruction. It had been many years since I last had such an illness. I asked Wendy if she could help me with Reiki which I had never experienced before. All I knew was that Reiki had something to do with energy and it could make you feel good. Thanks to two Reiki sessions with Wendy, I left the hospital by the third day! My past hospitalizations for a bowel obstruction usually lasted for 2-3 weeks. The first Reiki session was the most calming and exhilarating experience I ever had. I had no idea I could feel so relaxed. I tell everyone that it was the most wonderful, delicious calming sensation I have ever felt. My mind was clear, I did not feel as stressed about my illness. The second day, Wendy came to give me another session and again, I felt so wonderfully relaxed afterward. That afternoon, my obstruction showed signs of improvement, by the evening the obstruction had opened. I was released from the hospital the next day. Never in all my years of illness had I recovered so quickly. Wendy truly has the touch for Reiki. I think her compassion for people really transmits her Reiki energy to her clients. She truly has the touch for healing with Reiki.

My Story
I am so fortunate to have been guided on many paths of supporting the healing process. I was introduced to Reiki in a hospital setting in 2014 and have studied to the Master level. I feel it is my highest calling as a nurse. Spending time one on one, listening and working to find a balance of energy and the best environment for healing. I have dreamed of a place like this for many years, happily Miscellany Greene Studio is now here!
